MX Fit is a trading division of Mastermix Music Ltd and is a fitness music service fully licensed by Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) and MCPS to sell licensed music for group exercise. To play MX Fit music in your classes, you must ensure you are covered by the correct performance licences to play the content in a public space.

IS MX FIT PART OF PURE ENERGY?

MX Fit is a part of Mastermix Music Ltd, which also operates the DJ music service Mastermix. Both Mastermix and Pure Energy used to be divisions of The Music Factory Entertainment Group and both companies still have a strong affiliation. MX Fit produces mixes of licensed music by known artists, and Pure Energy GO offers an extensive high quality catalogue of licence free music, delivered via a groundbreaking App.

I’VE BOUGHT A MIXED ALBUM, HOW WILL THIS BE DELIVERED TO ME?

Your album will be delivered to you by digital download as one audio track per mix. The Warm Up, Main Mix and Cool Down mixes will be supplied as one file per mix, and these will be packaged in a ZIP file with the front and back cover artworks. For the Intervals range, the 3 Protocols are also delivered as separate files.

WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO DOWNLOAD DIGITAL FILES FROM MX FIT?

Our download service requires a PC or Mac with a modern web browser, older browsers are not supported. A broadband internet connection is strongly recommended to allow you to download your music as quickly as possible.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY PURCHASED MUSIC?

Downloaded albums can be played through your PC/Laptop, transferred to a compatible portable MP3 player or burnt to CD (as long as you own a Pro Dub licence). Once you have downloaded music, it is yours to keep; however, as all music available at MX Fit is copyrighted, it is prohibited to distribute, sell or share it with others.

THE SONG I WANT IS PART OF AN ALBUM… WHY CAN’T I PURCHASE IT SEPARATELY?

Tracks that are included in mixes are not available for individual purchase.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY TRACKS FROM MX FIT?

After confirming and paying for your order, go to My Account by clicking the icon in the top left corner of the website, and click Downloads where you’ll find your most recent purchase. Alternatively, you can click the link to download directly from your purchase confirmation email.

In the Downloads section of your account, the download count will indicate how many times you have downloaded the album. You can filter your purchased albums using the search box at the top of the Downloads area.

You can also download an album that you have previously purchased directly from the product page of the website – the option to ‘buy’ will have changed to ‘download’.

CAN I DOWNLOAD DIRECT TO A MOBILE DEVICE?

MX Fit delivers digital files as a zip file. We recommend that you download to your main computer then sync the audio files to your device, or use the recommended VLC Music Player App to download and play directly from your device.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I DOWNLOAD MY ITEMS?

The download links do not expire in your account once you have purchased an album and you can download multiple times. However, you should ensure your digital downloads are protected by a backup solution for the reasons stated below.

MY FILES ARE NO LONGER IN THE MY DOWNLOADS SECTION!

Occasionally we may need to withdraw items from download for legal or other reasons. Please ensure you download and back up your purchases and do not rely on your MX Fit account as a back up for your purchases.

WHAT FILE TYPE AND QUALITY ARE MX FIT DOWNLOADS?

MX Fit supplies digital audio in high quality MP3 file format. We obtain all our audio files from trusted sources and strive to ensure every file is of the highest quality available.

Please note, the preview files on this website are played at a reduced quality to the purchased files and they feature an ‘audio watermark’ which will not be present on your downloaded audio tracks.

WILL I RECEIVE ALBUM ART WITH MY ALBUM DOWNLOAD?

Yes, a front and back cover image is included with your download where available.

DO YOU SELL CDS?

No, MX Fit music is exclusively available as digital downloads in MP3 format.

WHY DON’T YOU SELL MIND/BODY MUSIC?

For all downtempo Mind Body music, we recommend you use the extensive catalogue available from Pure Energy GO. Pure Energy GO’s Mind Body section features the highest quality productions, it covers all sub-disciplines of Mind Body and it’s licence free.

CAN I BUY MX FIT MUSIC ON A USB?

MX Fit music is only available as a digital download from the website, but If you would like to purchase a specific collection of MX Fit music on a USB, we can create a bespoke order for you. Minimum spend is £100, please email [email protected] to discuss your requirements.
